From Alaska and Arizona to Georgia and Virginia, The Wilderness Society and its partners are working across the country to protect wilderness.

The 109th Congress adjourned at the beginning of 2007 after passing wilderness bills including  the Ojito Wilderness Act in New Mexico, the Caribbean National Forest Wilderness Act and the Northern California Coastal Wild Heritage Wilderness Act.
